 God is so good all the time! In case you haven't heard,
we are thrilled to tell you that Mark Stahl (our worship leader for
the past 3 1/2 years) and his wonderful wife Amy have answered God's
call and will be RCC's next youth pastors! Mark and Amy have grown up
here at RCC and have a passion to pastor our teenagers and to see
them grow deeply in love with Jesus. Thank you for your support to
Mark and Amy as they take on the challenge.
Here's a family matter to bring to your immediate attention. With the
sluggish economy, summer vacationing, and a number of our church
members still in dire need of employment, we have been struggling
financially these past few months. I shared this need with the church
recently and many of you are rising to the giving challenge. We are
believing God for $72K for the month of August to be given over five
Sundays. We know that God is our supply, but we also know that
he gives THROUGH people. Thanks for your amazing support - even in
the midst of a recession! God can and will provide "rivers in
the desert."
Attention Men: Pastor Scott Hagan, from Sacramento, California, will
be coming to RCC for a LEAD
Men's Conference on Friday night and Saturday morning, August 27 and
28. Scott has planted two great churches and also
pastored a mega church in Grand Rapids, Michigan before returning to
his hometown of Sacramento. Be sure to mark your calendar, men! Don't
miss this great man of God, Scott Hagan, at RCC. (Ages middle
school and up can register.) The cost for the men's conference is
only a $20 donation.

Load up your family members (parents, kids, grandmas,
grandpas, aunts, uncles, pets) and meet us in the RCC parking lot at
4:00 p.m. You will receive instructions for this fun-filled
family adventure as we scavenger around the Raleigh area to collect
various items and race back to the church to see which family has
obtained the most items from the scavenger list. The winning family
will receive a 4-pack of movie tickets.
Cost $10/family (includes pizza following the race)
What you will need to bring: Cell phone with camera capabilities or
digital camera will be required for some parts of the scavenger list.

the KidStuff table in the back of the Worship Center Auditorium.
Payments cannot be accepted online and must be made at the table or
at the event before the race.
This event is sponsored by KidStuff Children's Ministry of RCC and is
