God is up to something good
in your life!
Despite all the stresses and worries this life can throw at us, the
people of God can always count on the "peace of Christ"
that passes all understanding. Jesus said, "... In this world
you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the
world." What a benefit in living for the Lord!
Contrary to what some may think, pastors are not immune to the
stresses and curve balls the enemy can throw at us. We all must
fight the good fight of faith, and trust that God Himself has
everything under control and is working all things together for our
good.
Having said that, Janet and I have made one of the biggest decisions
of our lives; trusting that God is indeed leading us by His Spirit.
After serving for over 26 years at Raleigh Christian Community,
we believe the Holy Spirit is leading us into some new and
exciting ministry ventures which will require us to step away from
leading our local church ministry.
This comes with mixed emotions as we have built so many incredible
relationships over the years. However, we know that if God is
leading, it will benefit all parties involved. God has
spoken some incredible words over RCC and He WILL fulfill them in
His time. We are not planning to move, nor are we planning to
leave the church. We are simply taking faith steps toward what
we believe to be God's plan and purpose in this next season of
life and ministry.
Agree with us in prayer that God will place the right man for this
new season at the helm of leadership for our church. Let me encourage
you to continue your faithfulness in your GIVING, in
your SERVICE
and especially in your PRAYERS
for our ministry here at RCC.
Between now and then, let's enjoy the blessings of the Lord together
and trust that He is up to something good in our lives.
God bless you,
