Baptism at RCC
What are the
Requirements for Water Baptism?
The only
requirement for baptism is to ask Jesus Christ to come into your
heart.
This begins a relationship with a living God!
Baptism
is the vehicle to tell others of your commitment to Christ.

So here are the
next practical steps for your baptism.
- 1. Register for
the Water Baptism Class

You can register for the class online using
the link at the bottom of this page or at Community Central in
the back of the Worship Center auditorium before or after RCC
services. The purpose of this class is to give an understanding
of the significance of water baptism, what it means, and why we
do it.
- 2. Fill out the
appropriate child or adult water baptism application and bring it to
the Baptism Class.
- Baptism
Applications are available at Community Central, in the back of
the Worship Center auditorium, or online at the links at the bottom of this page.
The application deadline is the date of the Baptism Class. Be
sure to print your information. This application is used to
create a baptism certificate for you.
- 3. Print out
baptism invitations to send to your family and friends and invite
them to celebrate this special event with you.

Invitations that you can print at home are available online (see
link below) or you can request them
from the church office.
- 4.
Attend the Water Baptism Class at 9:00 a.m.
- The class will be held in
Worship Center Room 204. It is located to the right of the main
bathrooms in the lobby. This class will give you an understanding
of the purpose and significance of water baptism in the life of
a believer.
- 5.
We will contact you to schedule a time to film a brief video
testimony.
- This video will allow you to
share why you want to be baptized and what Jesus means to you.
You will also have the opportunity to thank anyone that played a
significant part in your Christian life.
- 6. What to
bring/wear on Water Baptism day:
- You will need
to come to the class dressed in shorts and a dark
colored t-shirt. Bring a towel, a change of clothes, an extra
pair of under clothes, and a hair dryer if needed. You will be
able to change clothes after the baptism in the Worship Center
bathrooms.
- 7.
You and your family/guests are invited to a reception/celebration
following the worship service in the Hospitality Room.
